Job Title: Service Management Engineer
A key client is seeking a skilled Service Management Engineer to join their team on a 12-month daily rate contract. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in managing and administering core ITSM functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and administer tools such as Tivoli NOI, LogicMonitor, Syslogng, Cribl, Splunk cloud, and in-house-built tools in Perl, JavaScript, and PHP.
* Configure and manage events in ServiceNow from various sources, including LogicMonitor, eG, Azure, and Cribl.
* Set up topology mapping and monitoring in LogicMonitor.
* Support the development of System Dependency Tool (SDT) written in Perl, PHP, and JavaScript.
* Write scripts to automate tasks using Korn, bash, and Ansible.
* Create and maintain documentation for ITSM policies, procedures, and metrics.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
* Logic Monitor certified Professional.
* At least 5 years of experience in Unix or Linux systems administration, with experience in large-scale monitoring installations and troubleshooting.
* European passport or Stamp 4/Stamp 1G visa required.
