About the job:As a Document Controller, you will be part of a highly creative and effective leadership team comprised of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and BIM Engineers. Your main tasks will include reviewing technical documents, drawings, or sheets issued by the design teams and storing them properly within the assigned document repository. You will be responsible for all project documentation issued by the Ethos Project team and for providing document guidance to all team members.About you:
Must be based in Ireland to be considered for this position
Minimun of 2 years' experience in a similar role
Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills
Capable of taking on project tasks with guidance from senior staff
Able to multi-task across projects for reviews and feedback
Good time management skills & ability to meet deadlines
Excellent IT skills
Motivated and flexible approach
Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team
Fluency in English
Your day-to-day activities:Provide document control assistance to all Ethos team members
Review/proof project documentation before final issuance to the client.
Check for accuracy, alignment, and quality of project reports.
Efficient archiving, storage, and retrieval of project documentation.
Maintain an up-to-date register of documentation.
Provide input into document management procedures and keep up to date on industry best practices.
QA review on documentation in line with project requirements, including:
Drawings
Specifications
Calculations
Reports
Assist with delivering Quality Assurance across Ethos
Ensure that project folders are in line with Ethos requirements
Complete administrative tasks to support the wider team as required, including formatting of specifications and reports
Manage communication with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
Desirable Attributes:
Experience with web-based information management systems
Good IT skills covering Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, ACC
Experience with web-based applications/software
Sound knowledge and recent experience using Bluebeam, etc.
