Job Description:
PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation solutions with offices in Ireland, the United States, and Puerto Rico, serving the Life Science, F&B, and Utilities industries, is looking for a Projects Automation Engineer. This is a site-based role within a multinational life science manufacturing environment in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities of the Role:
1. Work with other Automation resources, vendors, and partners to deliver automation systems on time and within budget.
2. Develop and/or review Software Development LifeCycle deliverables, compliant with Company standards, including but not limited to:
1. Requirements Specifications
2. Requirements Traceability Matrix
3. Functional Specification
4. Design Specification
5. Code Review
6. Test specification/test script
3. Work closely with vendors of Automation equipment to ensure deliverables meet project requirements.
4. Participate in Hardware and Software FATs and SATs to ensure MSD requirements and standards are met.
5. Follow project schedules and document trackers to assist in the management and control of project deliverables.
6. Participate in Automation meetings and support relevant program meetings.
7. Liaise with stakeholders on the overall project to ensure clear communication between all parties.
8. Ensure Automation compliance with Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements, and execute current good manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Core Competencies (Technical):
1. Strong experience in Siemens and Rockwell PLC, SCADA, and HMIs.
2. Knowledge of Siemens Desigo BAS, Siemens PM server, OSISoft PI, RT Reports, FTView, FactoryTalk is advantageous.
3. Some knowledge of Computer System Development Lifecycle is preferred.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-related computer applications required.
5. Prior experience in a similar role in the Pharmaceutical industry is desirable.

Qualifications:
1. Degree Qualification ideally in a related Automation, Engineering, Computer or other Technical discipline.
