Job Summary
This role involves leading the charge in sales strategy and growth for a leading Telecoms and Telematics provider. The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially aware, and skilled in business development and telematics.
The Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying key decision-makers and generating viable sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and various acquisition campaigns. You will also manage qualified customer appointments and visits for Account Managers, respond to inbound sales enquiries, and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively prospecting and identifying key decision-makers through cold calling and networking
* Generating new business opportunities relevant to our Telematics, Telecoms, Telephony, Connectivity, and Fuel solutions
* Following up on customer call backs and managing qualified customer appointments and visits for Account Managers
* Responding to and following up on inbound sales enquiries and maintaining pipeline
* Ensuring pipeline entries are updated on a weekly basis
* Composing relevant proposals for potential SME customers
Requirements
* Previous experience in Telesales, Outbound or Business Development
* Experience in KPI-focused sales roles
* Thorough understanding of planning and delivering new business strategies
* Demonstrable experience of closing new business opportunities on the phone
* Resilience and drive to make a high volume of outbound calls daily
* Willingness to learn about call techniques, our products, and services
* Proficient in using CRM software
* Highly motivated and goal-driven
* Exceptional communication skills
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
