Job Objectives
We are seeking applications for the role of a Field Care Supervisor.
The Field Care Supervisor will have overall responsibility for the Care Worker Team in the area. In this capacity you will mentor, coach and supervise a team of care workers. You will ensure that each member of the Care Team is carrying out their duties in a caring and compassionate manner and that all goals in each care plan are being achieved.
This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:
* Work closely with the area Care Manager to implement the policies and procedures of Nua and ensure that the high standards of the company are met at all times.
* Reliability and a flexible approach essential for position.
* Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner throughout the course of one’s duties, showing respect for Service Users and colleagues.
* Adherence to Nua Supported Living confidentiality policies at all times.
* Deputising for Care Manager when requested.
* Be involved at Care Managers request to do INA’s.
* Complete Supervision with staff.
* Complete regular spot checks.
* Implement reporting mechanisms particularly Incident/Accident reports.
* Follow up on new cases implemented after a one month period.
* Liaise directly with families for case set up.
Skills Requirement
Qualification:
* Level 7/8 Degree or working towards a degree in Social Studies.
Knowledge:
* Knowledge of the legislation relative to the area.
Experience:
* 3 years minimum managerial experience within a similar social care setting.
Skills:
* Strong leadership skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills and judgement.
* Making critical decisions and recommendations.
* Capable of working within a fast-paced and flexible team.
* Good listener and open to learning from others.
* Excellent organisational skills / self-motivation / self-starter.

* Full clean driver’s licence.
