Senior Buyer Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to join a leading construction contractor as a Senior Buyer on a permanent full-time basis.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the procurement of Sub Contract work packages ensuring timely availability and budget compliance to maximize project profitability.
* Develop and implement purchasing procedures to drive efficiency and cost savings.
* Negotiate with suppliers to secure best value and maintain successful relationships.
* Manage and report on budgets and costs, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in construction procurement or purchasing.
* Knowledge of Forms of Contract, Collateral Warranties, and other industry-specific agreements.
* Strong skills in construction procurement, purchasing, and supply chain management.
