Finance Manager
Sanderson is partnering with a Not for Profit organisation to recruit a Finance Manager on a 2-year fixed term contract. This role will focus on the health and wellbeing programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional finance-related support to operations business units.
* Taking responsibility for core operational financial procedures, controls, and quality.
* Overseeing the production of management information for various internal and external audiences.
* Managing the finance operations team, organizing roles, responsibilities, work plans, timetables, and deadlines.
* Ensuring timely delivery of all financial operations functions in line with policies and regulations.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Effective treasury management, including programme cash flow, drawdown, and reporting requirements.
* Liaising with other directorates on operations management, programme developments, performance delivery agreements, and reporting.
* Reporting to funders on specific programme financial requirements.
* Accountable for allocated budgets and resources.
* Managing Service Level Agreements and performance metrics for Programme Funding Management.
Team Leadership:
* Developing processes to implement policy decisions and assist in the development of new systems.
* Overseeing assigned staff, ensuring they understand their roles and receive necessary guidance.
* Conducting one-on-ones and performance evaluations to foster staff development.
* Working with senior management to allocate team resources effectively.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant with at least four years PQE
* Relevant Third Level Degree
* Experience working in the public sector, charity or non-profit sector.
* Strong experience in developing high-performing teams.
* Experience negotiating with senior management or government officials.
* Knowledge or direct experience of Social Inclusion and Employment programmes.
Desirable Skills:
* Project experience covering requirement gathering, prioritization, planning, and resource allocation.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Share Point applications, and portals is an advantage.
