Our client, a leading national Irish law firm, based in Limerick, dedicated to providing a range of commercial and personal legal services, is seeking an experienced Probate Legal Executive to join the team in their Limerick Office.The Role:To perform the duties of Legal Executive within the Probate department. As a Legal Executive - Probate, you will assist in the discharge of functions of the section under the direction of the responsible fee earner and ensure the smooth operation of the section of the office on a day-to-day basis.Responsibilities include:Assist with taking instructions from clientsPreparation of WillsPreparation of Statement of Affairs (Form SA2) and IT38Preparation of Estate AccountsPreparation of Oaths, Bonds, and ancillary probate documentsLiaising with financial institutions, probate office, and other third partiesDrafting of Deeds of Assent and Deeds of TransferRegistration of documents in the PRAPreparation of Estate AccountsDrafting and registering EPAs and Wardship applicationsConducting archiving and managing Accounts LedgerSupporting the solicitor(s) in various areas which fall under his/her remit and prioritising work accordinglyCreating and editing legal documents and templatesQualifications/Experience & Skills needed:1-2 years’ experience in a similar roleExperience of drafting wills, probate papers, and assisting with the running of will and probate filesProven organisational and administrative ability as well as excellent communication skillsA positive attitude, a proactive approach to work, and a willingness to learnA high degree of attention to detailProficient in IT skillsExperience advising and dealing with new clients and referralsDrafting wills, advising on wealth management, and administration of estate in all formsExperience of Probate Litigation, licensing, and conveyancing would be an advantageDiploma in Legal Studies and membership of IILEX is an advantageThe Offer:This position offers an attractive remuneration package of €35K to €40K per annum, depending on the candidate’s experience, with a benefits package. This is a full-time, onsite position, based in Limerick city, offering exceptional career prospects. Hours of work: Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm.
