Job Title: Community Centre Manager
The Community Centre Manager is responsible for the overall management of the daily operations of a Community Centre in the Fingal area. This includes reporting to the Board/Representatives, managing and engaging clients and activities, and general management including staff management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* To act as the main point of contact for the Community Centre.
* Report directly to the Board of Management/Representative on strategic planning, financial matters, pricing, and staff issues on a monthly basis.
* Develop and implement good Governance Policies and Procedures.
* Develop Business Plan and Marketing Plans that will build on existing income streams, provide future direction for the Centre, promote community engagement, and increase awareness and footfall into the Centres.
* Implement the Community Centres Business aims and objectives.
* Develop close working relationships with stakeholders, including local development groups, resident associations, schools, and community organisations.
* Develop close working relationships with clients.
* Evacuation & Emergency Procedures: be fully familiar with health and safety policies and procedures.
* Provide a welcoming environment for customers and visitors.
* Respond to initial enquiries, answer the telephone, reply to emails, and use online tools.
* Ensure all processes and procedures are implemented.
* Produce monthly reports, letters, and other documentation as directed.
* Ensure effective maintenance of the building, including maintenance programmes and supervision of contractors.
* Financial management, including developing and managing the Centre's budgets.
* To apply for relevant grants and funding to ensure financial sustainability.
* Staffing, recruitment, selection, and daily management of staff, carrying out performance reviews, and ensuring salaries and hours worked are submitted accurately and on time.
* Maintain confidentiality on all matters relating to the Centre's users and business.
* Oversee invoicing of clients in a timely manner and payment of same to ensure healthy cash flow.
* Liaise with key holding company and participate on keyholding out of hours contact list.
* Manage and maintain an up-to-date pre-planned maintenance schedule.
* Manage budgets in conjunction with the Board of Directors.

Working Pattern
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5.30 pm; however, some evenings and weekends may be required.
39 hours per week.
