Our client are a prestigious luxury property in Ireland, renowned for their exceptional service, high-end clientele, and exquisite hospitality standards. Due to the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the establishment, we are seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager to support the daily operations and uphold our client's commitment to excellence. Role Overview: As the Assistant General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the seamless running of the property. This is a hands-on role where you will be actively involved in all aspects of the business, including service, operations, and guest relations. You must be willing to step in where needed, including waiting tables, working the bar, and hosting guests during busy periods. Your leadership and passion for hospitality will play a key role in maintaining our high standards. Role Responsibilities: Support the General Manager in all aspects of daily operations. Lead by example with a hands-on approach, assisting in service, bar, and front-of-house duties as required. Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high service standards and attention to detail. Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver top-tier hospitality. Oversee reservations, guest interactions, and VIP experiences. Assist with financial management, cost control, and achieving revenue targets. Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with all policies. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism Candidate Requirements: MUST have the right to live and work in Ireland Proven experience in a similar managerial role within a high-value or luxury property. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and remain hands-on in various departments. Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a busy hospitality environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods as required.
