Job Overview:
A leading pharmaceutical company in Dublin is seeking a skilled and experienced Calibration Technician to join their team. This fully on-site role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in equipment calibration and maintenance within a GMP-regulated environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and operational reliability of all instrumentation and equipment across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform scheduled calibrations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on instrumentation and equipment throughout the facility.
2. Ensure all equipment and systems comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
3. Maintain precise and compliant documentation of all calibration activities.
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults, recommending corrective actions to reduce downtime.
5. Provide calibration records and procedural insights to support internal and external audits.
6. Monitor calibration schedules for reference equipment to ensure timely calibrations and avoid compliance risks.
7. Consistently label equipment in line with internal compliance protocols.
8. Support technology transfer projects by preparing equipment and calibration systems for new processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a calibration or instrumentation role within a GMP-regulated environment.
2. Strong knowledge of calibration standards, documentation practices, and regulatory compliance.
3. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
4. Ability to work independently in a high-paced, manufacturing setting.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills.
