Colleague Relations (HR) Assistant

Grade G £24,592, 39 hours, Monday - Friday

Right now, we are looking for a Colleague Relations (HR) Assistant to join our People at our Fulfilment Centre in Stafford.
The Role
The Colleague Relations (HR) Assistant manages communications, performs administrative tasks, supports meetings, maintains records, assists with absence management, handles simple cases, oversees occupational health referrals, and participates in projects. They balance resolving issues independently and escalating them when necessary. You will be working closely with the Colleague Relations Advisors and People Relations Lead.
Key Responsibilities
1. To manage the colleague relations inbox ensuring case allocation and timely responses to emails.
2. Ability to understand when to take responsibility to resolve issues and when to escalate to Colleague Relations Advisor or People Relations Lead.
3. Admin Tasks: electronic filling, scanning paperwork and shredding paperwork
4. Support hearings and meetings as note takers on occasions.
5. Create new and maintain all ER cases onto HEAT (Case management system) ensuring records are up to date and documented accurately in all ER activities.
6. Maintain the IDGA case trackers for warehouse and transport ensuring records are up to date and documented accurately.
7. Assist with the absence management process sending welcome back to work interviews to managers to conduct meetings with colleagues, create daily absence statics.
8. Be responsible for managing the less complex cases (AWOLs and Probations) with support from Colleague Relations Advisors.
9. Maintain the occupational health referral process

23. CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards this qualification is preferred but not required.
