Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our new Audit, Risk, and Compliance Department as a Head of Compliance and Risk Manager. This is a senior management position, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with IPAS and HIQA standards and regulations
* Liaise with other members of the senior management team on corporate risk and risk management
* Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and business continuity plans
* Conduct internal reviews and audits to ensure control procedures are followed
* Support employees in understanding regulations and industry practices
Requirements:
* Promoting humanity in all interactions with residents
* Taking on the role of Mandated Person and DPL in Child Protection and Vulnerable Adults
* Formal qualification in Social Care or Healthcare Management or relevant qualification at level 8 or above
* Minimum 5 years management experience in Direct Provision, Social Care, Health Care, or equivalent experience
