Accounts Payable Clerk - Citywest Dublin HQ
We are delighted to be growing our experienced and vibrant finance team with the addition of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Head Office in Citywest, Dublin on a hybrid basis.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a vital role in our finance department, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to timely payments will be essential in maintaining positive vendor relationships and contributing to the financial success of the company.
You will be:
1. Accurately processing accounts payable invoices using our ERP system, COINs OA, and ensure proper coding and approval.
2. Verifying and reconciling vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
3. Communicating effectively with suppliers, and internal departments regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
4. Compliant with company policies.
5. Assisting in month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable activities.
6. Collaborating with the finance team to analyse and improve accounts payable processes.
7. Utilising your previous experience with COINs OA ERP system (if applicable) to enhance efficiency in the accounts payable workflow (previous experience is a benefit but not a requirement).
You will have:
8. Previous experience in the construction industry (preferred but not required).
9. Diploma or equivalent (IATI certification or relevant degree is a plus)
10. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications.
11. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
12. Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
13. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with suppliers and internal teams.
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
15. Previous experience with the COINs OA ERP system is a benefit but not a requirement.
16. Knowledge of Relevant Contract Tax (RCT) and domestic reverse charge is a benefit but not essential.
