Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
* Implements sourcing strategies for the assigned commodities/services with focus on driving cost reduction initiatives through negotiation, competitive leverage, outsourcing and process improvements.
* Leads localization initiative for Integer’s user sites by identifying and developing competitive local suppliers for indirect commodities.
* Coordinates all strategic sourcing activities for the assigned commodities including financial analysis. Compiles the aggregate demand for assigned commodities across all Integer locations to leverage spend for contract negotiations.
* Supports supplier evaluation programs. Conducts regular performance reviews with suppliers, establishes improvement expectations and follows up on progress meeting those.
* Assesses risk within the applicable commodities and implements strategies to mitigate risks.
* Identifies strategic suppliers for indirect commodities/services and drives the execution of the sourcing process for assigned commodities.
* Negotiates supplier agreements and works with Contract Management and Legal teams to ensure applicable commodities/services are covered contractually with favorable commercial terms.
* Works with the cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain, operations) to determine business needs and drive the implementation of the commodity strategic plan.
* Actively supports internal customers with sourcing the required indirect commodities or services on time and within budget.
* Uses project management and problem-solving skills to resolve supplier issues and support sourcing strategy execution.
* Works closely with Finance and Supply Chain Analytics teams to ensure that standards and savings data is accurate for applicable strategic commodities during the budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience:
* Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
* Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in sourcing/procurement in manufacturing industries that includes 2 years of experience in indirect commodities.
Knowledge & Skills:
* Specialized Knowledge: Specific commodity and industry expertise. Negotiating and procurement principles.
* Special Skills:
o Must have strong, demonstrated negotiation experience/skills.
o Must have project management experience including root cause analysis, cross-functional mediation and facilitation.
o Demonstrated track record of implementing commodity strategies resulting in significant financial and operational benefits for the organization.
o Demonstrated track record of cost reduction is required.
