Bar Manager required for prominent business Venue in Cork city commute region. The role will require the effective and efficient management of all Food and Beverage management and coordinating all day-to-day activities in the Bar. This is a very busy and prominent Venue in Cork but there are no very late nights/2am finishes!
Requirements
1. Experience in managing busy volume, high-paced Bar, Food and Beverage service operation.
2. Candidates need experience managing a busy team.
3. You must have experience managing a busy volume property.
4. Must display effective, dynamic leadership and team management abilities.
5. Reliable, committed, motivated, and above all, a professional person required.
6. Must display strong attention to detail and be very standards and service-driven.
7. Proven experience in coaching, training, mentoring your team, job chats, etc.
8. A positive attitude, a “can do” approach, friendly and outgoing personality.
9. 3 years minimum Bars Management experience needed, ideally in a large 4* Hotel or similar Venue/large GastroPub, etc.
10. Work Permit is not available for this role; full legal status to work in Ireland is required.
11. Fluent English and excellent IT and admin skills required.
Responsibilities
1. Manage daily operations and coordinate all areas of the Bars/premises.
2. Manage, lead, mentor, and guide the team as required.
3. Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene prevail.
4. Manage your premises effectively, coordinating Security, Health and Safety, etc.
5. Full responsibility for managing Tills, cash, pricing, promotions, special events, stock control, Food and Beverage service, etc.
6. Observe all shift and opening/closing procedures adhering to all EHO and security guidelines.
7. Provide leadership and facilitate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all.
