Assistant Data Protection Officer
A leading energy organisation seeks an Assistant Data Protection Officer to support the delivery and implementation of a Data Protection service across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and implementation of the Data Protection strategy across the organisation.
* Provide guidance to the business on Data Protection compliance.
* Conduct risk assessments for projects, evaluating Data Protection & privacy-related risks.
* Assist the business in conducting Data Privacy Impact Assessments.
* Investigate any Data Protection-related complaints and inquiries.
* Manage and maintain registers associated with Data Protection compliance requirements.
* Oversee Data Subject Requests and Data Subject Rights Requests.
* Develop and deliver ongoing Data Protection awareness programs and in-house training.
Requirements:
* Previous operational data protection experience is desirable.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a role requiring the application of analytical skills and sound judgment.
* Ability to think and act independently.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Detail-oriented with a technical aptitude.
