Senior Marketing Manager
Our client, a bespoke interior company based in Kilkenny, is seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager on a permanent contract.
This role requires a natural people leader who is highly organized and passionate about marketing, dedicated to driving results. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the marketing team and implementing all B2B and B2C marketing strategies across the company's portfolio of brands in Ireland, the UK, and France.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop the marketing team with clear roles, responsibilities, and KPIs.
* Develop and drive the company brand experience internally within the business and externally with target B2B and B2C customers.
* Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs, and emerging trends, gathering insights to support data-driven marketing strategies.
* Create category-leading marketing and sales support material for the UK, Ireland, and France including in-store online content, videos, packaging, brochures, advertising, sales packs, in-store POS, and pitch presentations.
* Collaborate with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales goals and ensure a consistent message across all channels.
* Work closely with NPI and Sales to launch any new products, upgrades, and brands across all channels.
* Lead cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and deliver results-oriented marketing campaigns.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing or related field.
* 7+ years of team management/people management experience within a fast-paced environment.
* Marketing experience within a similar industry such as Home, Construction, Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing - Desirable.
* Proven experience managing and motivating a goal-driven team.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
* Strong project management skills including prioritization, conceptualization, planning resources, managing deadlines and objectives, and delivering recommendations.
* Proven ability in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans on time and within budget.
* Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic priorities.
* Will to travel to the UK and relevant international trade fairs within Europe on a quarterly basis (approx. 3 times a year).
