Based in Cork City, you will become part of a close-knit and collaborative team within an established business that has a growing global market presence. Your role will be pivotal in supporting and enhancing the payroll function.
ABOUT THE ROLE
* Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of payroll records.
* Address payroll queries and provide support to employees regarding payroll issues, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.
* Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
* Participate in payroll audits and resolve any discrepancies.
* Engage in ad hoc projects aimed at process improvements.
ABOUT THE PERSON
* Previous payroll experience is desirable.
* Hardworking, organised, and friendly, with a strong team spirit.
* High level of accuracy and strong analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and strong computer skills.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of the business.
* Comfortable working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
