About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Health and Safety Professional to join the dedicated Health, Safety Environmental (HSE) Team at our Next-Generation manufacturing facility in Limerick.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, integrate, and improve safety and health programs, including safety mindsets, training, and awareness.
* Provide specialist advice and technical guidance to ensure compliance with safety and health legislation, corporate standards, policies, and industry guidance.
* S support the development of a safety environment with integrated safety practices and open safety conversations.
* Develop and deliver high-quality safety and health training.
* Understand and implement safety and health requirements in a project environment through knowledge of applicable legislation and industry practices.
* Complete site performance metric reviews and analysis.
* Support site audits, self-assessments, management reviews, and corporate audits/external regulatory audits.
* Collaborate with site manufacturing and technical support personnel to run safety and health aspects of new or established processes.
* Work well with external partners, such as service providers, vendors, consortiums, academia, and internal partners, as needed.
* S support and interact in required site team and HSE Team meetings.
Educational and Experience Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related subject, and a minimum of 2-4 years relevant professional experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in the pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries.
