KNOW THE ROLE
The Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring that sales targets are met, and providing exceptional customer service. They will assist in managing staff, organizing schedules, and maintaining inventory levels. Key responsibilities include:
1. Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day management of the store.
2. Help achieve sales targets and KPIs by motivating the team and providing sales coaching.
3. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
4. Manage inventory levels and ensure product availability.
5. Train and develop team members, providing feedback and performance evaluations.
6. Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional manner.
7. Assist with visual merchandising and store presentation.
8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
9. Proven experience in retail management or a similar role.
10. Strong leadership and team management skills.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
13. Knowledge of outdoor sports and products is a plus.
14. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
