Accounts Assistant (Payroll) Opportunity
Job Summary:
FRS Recruitment is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant with payroll experience to join our client's team. This office-based role in Bluebell, Dublin 12, involves managing payroll for approximately 100 employees weekly and supporting the company's financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Payroll Administration: Process weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with PAYE, PRSI returns, and relevant regulations.
* Financial Reconciliation: Perform bank and income reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
* Overseeing Financials: Monitor the company's financial aspects, providing insights and reports as required.
* Budgeting: Assist in preparing and compiling annual budgets, aligning financial planning with company goals.
* Invoicing & Debt Collection: Manage invoicing processes and oversee debt collection to ensure timely payments from clients.
* Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with payroll-related taxes and statutory obligations, including PAYE, PRSI, and other government returns.
Requirements:
* Minimum Experience: 3 years in a similar accounts or payroll role.
* Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of payroll processes, taxation (PAYE/PRSI), and relevant legislation; proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word); excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills:
* Payroll Software Experience: Experience with payroll software (e.g., Sage, Quick Books, etc.).
* Financial Reporting: Knowledge of financial reporting and budget preparation.
* Debt Management: Experience in debt management and collections.
