Job Title: Business Finance Partner
Key Responsibilities:
* Fully accountable for the financial reporting of all products within the business portfolio including Mobile, Io T and Connected Solutions.
* Provide expert analysis for the more complex product offerings such as M2 M and 3 CS.
* Presentation of monthly insights & results to the Business Director & Business Leadership team, highlighting and explaining trends and anomalies.
* In depth analysis of monthly trends including management packs to drive strategic decisions within the Business Leadership Team.
* Exceptional ability to explain the impact of prior decisions on performance and results to various audiences within the organisation, both financial and non-financial to Director and senior management levels.
Other Key Responsibilities:
* Quarterly presentation to Corporate and SME Heads of functions providing valuable insights and focus where any new product offerings are released to the market.
* Production of month end results ensuring their accuracy, working with the products team to ensure all items are reflected, particularly in the 3 CS & M2 M area which are the more complicated products.
* Expertise required for accurate GL mappings particularly on any new products to ensure accurate revenue reporting and identifying and resolving revenue loss on an ongoing basis.
* Develop cross functional partnerships, to ensure recognition of new products follow generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and ensuring the propositions build take account of required accounting standards.
* Lead and manage the budget and quarterly reforecasting revenue and margin process working closely with the business heads of functions and presenting to the business leadership team prior to submission.
* Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations.
* Continually review and support the improvement to data sources and any new interfaces to the revenue reporting area.
* Represent the Finance Revenue team as a subject matter expert regarding GL mappings and revenue recognition of new product launches and specialised projects.
The Skills We Are Looking For:
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with relevant experience.
* Experience of financial and management accounting.
* Experience of budgeting and forecasting.
* Actively demonstrates ownership and responsibility with a proven record of working on own initiative as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* As the role requires management of a diverse range of stakeholders, strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills are essential with evidence of a proactive approach and credible outcome.
* Excellent excel & Power Point skills.
* Exposure to revenue/margin reporting and analysis Oracle Financial Systems Knowledge.
* Change advocate with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Excellent analytical skills with strong planning and organisation skills.
* Experience in a telecommunication industry preferable.
