The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic B2B Business Development Manager to join our expanding sales team and drive sales in a growing industry. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding our B2B customer base with the GPS and Camera Telematics sector.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including the product development team, to identify potential clients, cultivate relationships, and lead sales initiatives. Your expertise will be critical in driving the growth of our business through strategic partnerships and market expansion. You will also be responsible for managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, target, and generate new business leads by reaching out to SMEs and large enterprises across Ireland through networking, cold calling, referrals, and online research.
* Effectively negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements, ensuring deals are closed efficiently while meeting sales targets.
* Accurately report sales activity, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM tools, and provide regular sales performance updates to management.
* Provide detailed and engaging product demonstrations, showcasing how our GPS fleet management and telematics solutions can be tailored to meet each client's specific needs.
* Present, promote, and sell our SaaS-based GPS Fleet Management and camera telematics solutions, demonstrating the benefits of improved fleet visibility, driver safety, and cost savings to potential clients.
* Remain up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, securing long-term partnerships.
Technical Assistance (training provided):
* Provide basic technical support and guidance to clients regarding the setup and use of the software and hardware solutions.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 2-years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, technology, or telematics solutions.
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to explain technical products in simple terms to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM.
* Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently to meet targets and deadlines.
* A valid full-driver’s license is required for nationwide travel.
