Objective Ensure materials & assets are adequately stored, controlled and provided to Operations in line with procedures Measurement Stock accuracy Number of missing parts Material & Tool Availability Conformance to procedures Dock to Stock Close Calls raised relating to Stores activities Responsibilities To manage all issuance, deliveries and collections of materials, tools, spare parts, equipment & control of day books Update and maintain data in Business Information Systems (including CARL, Parts Catalogue, and Tooling Vendas) for all materials/tools, managing documentation flows Ensure all hazardous materials are stored, handled and disposed of safely & correctly in accordance with company procedure and legal requirements.
Arrange return of items due to be repaired/calibrated.
To perform stock checks, investigating discrepancies To keep the stores secure and ensure 5S and good housekeeping standards are met.
Undertake material/tool transfers between depots, and other driving duties as required.
To actively participate in the reduction of Deviations from Standard, reported each month on HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental) grounds as per Transdev procedures.
To adopt the Ways Of Working (WOW) Behaviours in your day to day working, as per Transdev guidelines To ensure all Stores activities comply with Company, Health & Safety, and Quality policies and procedures.
To undertake any other duties as specified by the Stores Manager, including Line Of Route and T-Card actions relating to Stores activities Technical Knowledge / Experience First-hand experience working in Stores.
