Our client, a stunning hotel based in Galway, has a new opening for a Financial Controller to join their team.
This is an opportunity to work with a great brand in the hospitality space.
Your Role: Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and optimize financial performance.
Oversee financial planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control.
Work closely with the General Manager to achieve finance objectives and meet deadlines.
Collaborate with other departments to drive cost efficiencies and maximize profitability.
Prepare monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Coordinate weekly financial reports, including payroll stats and revenue forecasts.
Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and timely submission of audit books, VAT returns, payroll taxes, etc.
Your Profile: 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in hospitality.
Experience leading a finance/accounting team.
Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel, and accounting software.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
