With inflation now having stabilized and coming close to the 2% target range, the expectation is that further interest rate cuts will follow by the end of Q3. This effect is renewing appetite in terms of capital investment projects across both the public and private sectors.
Given the above, my client is seeing this renewed appetite flowing through to large-scale projects across infrastructure, energy, and renewables and is duly seeking to add to their headcount with a strong Manager and Associate Director within their Infrastructure Corporate Finance team based here in Dublin, although looking at projects in Ireland and internationally.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF) projections, sensitivity analyses, and valuation models to support strategic client decision-making.
* Ensure that financial models comply with industry standards and best practices.
* Work closely with the Partner as well as other departments in both Ireland and internationally on complex infrastructure and government-led project and corporate finance mandates.
* Review Excel and AI-based models under supervision and arrive at preliminary conclusions.
* Understand, manipulate, and interpret financial data and client information, drawing appropriate conclusions.
* Understand client requirements, co-develop our approach with the client, and provide value through insights, factual conclusions, and advice.
* Carry out relevant analysis and present your findings (both written and orally).
* Manage day-to-day progression of assignments, including planning, preparing, and reviewing various forms of deliverables such as reports and presentations.
* Focus on anticipating and identifying risks that require escalation and subsequently escalate these risks to more senior staff as appropriate.
What we are seeking:
The successful candidate will have gained at least 5 years of experience (up to 10 years for the Associate Director role) and come from a financial modeling, valuations, investment banking, corporate, or project finance background. They will also be at least master's level qualified, ideally CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CAIA qualified as well.
On Offer:
The opportunity to work across some of the most interesting and complex infrastructure, energy, and renewables projects is a significant advantage for both the role and its effect on your future career aspirations across the sector.
The culture, environment, and team are second to none, offering a brilliant package, an excellent base salary, and a health bonus.
