Job Brief
The Accounting Assistant will perform daily accounting tasks that will support our Accountant.
Accounting Assistant responsibilities include managing and reconciling invoices, bank and cash book reconciliation, posting of journals, revenue online, banking online payments, etc.
Ultimately, you will help our Accounts department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Responsibilities
1. Reconcile and prepare payment of supplier invoices and sales invoices.
2. Check the daily cash sheets for accuracy and enter data into Excel spreadsheets.
3. Enter financial transactions into QuickBooks.
4. Maintain digital and physical financial records.
5. Participate in annual audits.
Requirements
1. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
2. Knowledge of Revenue online – VAT – VIES - INTERSTAT.
3. Organizational skills.
4. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
