Job Description:

Reporting to the PIA (Prudential International Assurance) Financial Crime and Regulatory Risk Manager, you will support your line manager and their other direct reports in the execution of their responsibilities covering financial crime and compliance risk monitoring.

* Focuses on quality of delivery to achieve clear outputs within guidelines and precedent
* Runs the organisation's processes and systems following pre-defined procedures
* Adapts to change, responds with initiative and makes suggestions for improvements to own work and processes
Key Responsibilities for this role:
* Act as PIA’s local data protection coordinator and liaise with PIA's outsourced services provider and the M&G Central Data Privacy Team in managing Data Privacy Breaches, DSARs, Register of Processing Activities, and DPIAs as applicable
* Management of PIA Regulatory Reporting Tracker
* Preparing applicable regulatory returns for Manager review where Compliance is responsible for the return
* Supporting Manager in meeting PIA's Fitness and Probity responsibilities
* Supporting Manager in reviewing PIA literature allocated to them for review
* Collating and producing Compliance MI and related dashboards
* Reviewing PEP/Sanction/Adverse Media screening alerts
* Provide support in managing the PIA Compliance email account
* Supporting Manager in maintaining compliance policies, standards, and procedures
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Degree level education and a professional compliance qualification (or suitable equivalent) or currently studying for such a qualification
* Practical experience within a CBI or FCA regulated financial services firm or consultancy
* Working knowledge and some experience of Irish and UK regulatory requirements, including IDR, GDPR, and Financial Crime
* Experience of producing MI and related dashboards
* Life insurance industry experience ideal
* Some experience of reviewing financial promotional and non-promotional literature preferred
* Commercially focused
* Ability to analyse data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
* Well-organised self-starter, able to prioritise quickly and adapt to change and tight time-frames
* Collaborative with a strong team ethic
* Proficient with Microsoft Office including use of Word, Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
