Job Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for managing a busy switchboard operation and providing high-level administrative support on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will ensure friendly and efficient customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle all duties in a professional, efficient, and confident manner.
* Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming calls for Head Office personnel.
* Ensure timely distribution of relevant telephone messages and emails to the relevant Head Office personnel.
* Organize meeting rooms and liaise with necessary personnel in a friendly and efficient manner.
* Perform general office administration tasks, including typing, photocopying, faxing, and filing.
* Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills.
* Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
* A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar busy receptionist role is essential.
* Strong MS Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are desirable.
* Essential secretarial, organizational, and administrative skills.
* Sound judgment and discretion are crucial.
* Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
* Ability to work as part of a team and take on additional tasks as assigned.
