Our client is a leading building services consultancy specializing in HVAC and air conditioning.
This role will assist the Project Management team with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Cooperating and communicating with the Project Managers and other project participants.
2. Collaborating with Senior Engineers to create more efficient project methods and maintain project profitability.
3. Interacting with clients to interpret their needs and requirements.
4. Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance, and reporting on the project's status.
5. Reviewing engineering tasks and initiating necessary corrective actions.
6. Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.
7. Creating frameworks to measure project metrics and data collection.
8. Ensuring project compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
9. Preparing technical submittals and following detailed project approval processes (e.g., Pharmaceutical).
10. HVAC design work including drawing updates and modifications.
11. Ordering parts and equipment.
12. Completing health and safety documentation as required.
13. Assisting on-site works such as snagging, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, ensuring all associated paperwork is completed to the highest standard.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
2. 2-3 years proven experience in a similar role.
3. Demonstrated ability to work and communicate professionally, verbally, and in written form with internal and external customers.
4. Demonstrated customer service excellence.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, and CAD.
6. BIM/REVIT experience would be an advantage.
Package:
Salary €60k - €80k depending on experience.
Permanent Contract.
Fully expensed company car / car allowance.
