Accounts Administrator
Our client is a well-established IT & Software company in Co. Clare that is looking to hire an Accounts Administrator (part-time role). Strong bookkeeping initiative is a must. This role will suit someone who can work on their own, as well as being a team player, an energetic individual with an emphasis on filing & accounting skills.
Successful candidates should be professional, mature, and flexible.
Previous Experience Required:
* Essential experience in Financial, Credit Control, Administration, Personal Assistance to MD.
* Demonstrable experience in good company finance practice, including bank reconciliations, creditor & debtor reconciliations, processing Customer & Supplier Invoices, and preparation of ROS/VAT tax returns.
* Experience managing emails and phone calls and handling queries.
Key Responsibilities For The Role:
* Bookkeeping Services for a small team of professionals.
* Bank & Credit Card reconciliations. Conduct regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date.
* Creditors and Debtors. Supplier & Customer Invoicing.
* Email & Phone - Query Handling.
* Preparation of VAT/VIES/PAYE & PRSI returns. Working knowledge of the same a must. Maintain essential paperwork for monthly, bi-monthly company returns in consultation with Accountants.
* Filing & Management: Organize and maintain filing systems meticulously.
* RCT/PSWT/ROS returns. ROS Online Experience, Submissions, My Enquiries.
* Assist Online Payroll function and experience of online payroll is an advantage.
* Strong awareness of data privacy, ensure integrity.
Requirements for This Role:
* Excellent timekeeping, punctuality and ability to adapt to varying tasks.
* Proficient in Bookkeeping & Financial standard practices.
* Accounting Qualification is a distinct advantage.
* Working knowledge of Management Accounts, P&L, Journals & General Ledgers is a plus.
* Must be proficient with the following: Sage, BrightPay & ROS portal.
* MS Office Proficiency is a pre-requisite. Good typing skills.
* Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role.
