Reporting to the Managing Solicitor, the role will involve providing administrative legal support to the in-house legal team.
Job Responsibilities
* Relevant previous experience having worked as a Legal Executive in personal injury litigation.
* Capability to proactively push files along including drafting and filing pleadings, retaining/instructing expert witnesses, under instruction.
* Ability to brief Counsel in relation to all matters including Motions.
* Capability to prepare files for trial including ensuring briefs are issued and up to date, disclosure provisions are in full compliance and expert witnesses are in attendance or on stand-by.
* An ability to prioritise work, manage diaries, multi-task when necessary and problem solve.
Education
* Relevant professional or third-level qualification, preferably in Legal Studies, with experience in personal injury litigation essential.
Experience
* Advanced MS Office Skills.
* Proficiency in case management systems.
* Fast and accurate audio typing skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent time management, written and oral skills.
* A professional approach with an energetic and proactive attitude.
