This position involves working toward organizational goals, creating workflow policies and procedures, creating schedules, and leading team members in order to operate at peak efficiency. The Project Manager works with clients and various departments within the company to ensure that project deliverables are completed within the budget and defined scope. They coordinate with teams working on the project to ensure that goals are met on time and that each team’s deliverables are compatible with all others. The Project Manager oversees all aspects of projects; they set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects. The Project Manager also prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of the projects.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Project Planning and Execution :
* Lead the planning and implementation of project activities, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.
* Develop full-scale project plans and schedules, allocating resources and coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
Budget Management :
* Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures to ensure financial objectives are met.
Quality Control :
* Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations through rigorous quality control and testing procedures.
Client and Stakeholder Communication :
* Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns promptly.
Team Leadership and Development :
* Lead, coach, and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment and encouraging professional growth.
* Provide insight and opinions on resource needs, such as equipment and software.
* Fabrication drawing review and management.
* Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
Compliance and Safety :
* Ensure all project activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations, including adhering to safety protocols.
Documentation and Reporting :
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, and financial records, ensuring all project information is accurately recorded and securely stored.

Requirements
PREFERRED / REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in project management within the welding, fabrication, or construction industries, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
* Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively.
* Solid organizational skills, including multitasking, prioritization, and time management.
* Ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on achieving results.
* Technical understanding of welding and fabrication processes and techniques is highly desirable.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
