Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee road maintenance contracts with Kerry and Cork County Councils.
This role requires a background in Civil Engineering, road servicing or quantity surveying and the ability to manage all aspects of day-to-day operations, costs, crews and materials for each project.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day site operations
* Manage site resources (labor, materials, equipment)
* Coordinate sub-contractors and suppliers
* Ensure work aligns with project plans, specs, and schedules
* Monitor progress and update senior management
* Enforce health and safety protocols
* Conduct site inspections and address safety concerns
* Ensure quality standards are met and address issues
* Maximize productivity, minimize waste, and track costs
* Liaise with clients, engineers, and stakeholders
* Lead site meetings and collaborate on budgets and cost control
Requirements:
* Bachelor's in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
* 5+ years of construction management experience, with road project focus
* Strong proficiency in project management tools
* Full driving licence is essential
