Job DescriptionIntel Ireland process engineering departments are looking for Process/Equipment Engineering talent to join our advanced technology fab.
As a Process/Equipment Engineer, you will focus on delivering a robust and efficient semiconductor manufacturing process with data driven analytics and systematic problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will work as a Process/Equipment Engineer on Intel leading edge technology nodes, partnering with engineers from various disciplines and other departments as well as integrated module teams.
The candidate will be responsible for safety, quality, supporting operational performance, and improving productivity in addition to cost reduction for their module.
They will be responsible for delivering Process Equipment availability for their module, implementation of upgrades, support and continuous improvement of the maintenance strategy, and achieving quality, output and cost goals as defined by the engineering department strategy.
They will also contribute in cross-functional teams to solve problems by leveraging superior model-based problem-solving techniques.
They will be required to engage actively in the Virtual Factory to maintain process matching and drive improvement cadence.
Responsibilities/What you'll do:
Transfer new process nodes from Technology Development to High Volume Manufacturing.
Module(s) and/or equipment ownership and qualification.
Includes:
tool preventative maintenance, management of troubleshooting activities, regular monitoring of tool and process performance, defect analysis and reduction, and ownership of improvements in safety, yield, cost, and improved manufacturability.
Interacting with multiple organizations to drive integrated defects reduction so as to maintain best in class yields.
Learn, transfer, maintain, and improve a cost affordable on all site technologies.
Train and develop local organization.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications/Experience:
Candidates must have a relevant technical qualification (e.g.
B.Sc., B.Eng.)
in an approved Science or Engineering discipline which would include but not exclusively; Physics, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc).
This qualification should be at minimum of Level 8 in the NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications ) with minimum 5 years direct process/equipment engineering experience.
In addition, viable candidates must meet the following requirements:
Proven history of technical contributions, decision making and problem solving.
Ability to work well in a culturally diverse team environment.
Disciplined in regard to policies and procedures and have a keen eye for detail.
Demonstrated excellence in Structured Problem-Solving Techniques.
Excellent listening, written and verbal communication, tolerance of ambiguity, and commitment to task.
Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
Preferred Experience:
Critical data and Engineering analysis skills and software proficiency.
Ability to summarize complex data sets for technical and nontechnical audiences.
Have technical expertise within Semiconductor Processing and be able to provide technical direction on all quality issues.
Demonstrated formal and/or informal leadership capability including strong training, mentoring and coaching skills.
Demonstrated the capability of working in and leading a high performing team culture which includes setting high expectations, driving accountability to those expectations, role modelling the desired culture, possess excellent teamwork, demonstrated problem solving and prioritization skills, and driving high performance maintenance goals for the group.
