20FIFTY Partners are seeking to engage with independent Sustainability Tutors to form a panel of training providers. Delivering engaging and informative training programmes to both our public and private sector clients, you will help trainees to develop an understanding of environmental issues, sustainable practices, and how to apply them in their professional working environments. We would like to hear from tutors with expertise and experience in training delivery across Corporate Sustainability, Biodiversity, Water Stewardship, Emissions, Energy and Circularity, Twin Transitions, and Climate Resilience.
Scope of Work
1. Deliver interactive, engaging, and informative sustainability lessons in various formats (e.g., in-person, online, workshops).
2. Develop curriculum and learning materials focused on sustainability topics.
3. Assess trainee progress through assignments, projects, and evaluations.
4. Provide constructive feedback to help trainees grow and develop their sustainability knowledge and skills.
5. Stay up to date with the latest trends, research, and developments in the sustainability field.
6. Support trainees in understanding how sustainability principles can be applied in their working organisation or future careers.
7. Collaborate with the programme development team to enhance curriculum offerings and ensure content is accurate and relevant.
Contractor Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Sustainability, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
2. Previous teaching or tutoring experience within the area of business sustainability.
3. Strong knowledge of sustainability issues, environmental policies, and best practices.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
5. Passion for environmental conservation and education.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
7. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
8. Experience with online learning platforms (Canvas experience is highly desirable).
