A well-established law firm based in Newtownards is recruiting for a capable legal secretary to join their litigation team to deal with a broad range of litigation matters.
Your New Role
In your new role as the litigation secretary, you will work closely with the Litigation Partners, providing comprehensive support to optimize their efficiency in handling legal matters.
* Type and file legal documents, ensuring meticulous organization and adherence to procedural requirements.
* Utilize the case management system to prepare detailed and precise legal correspondence, maintaining a streamlined and efficient workflow.
* Manage the filing systems, encompassing daily filing tasks and managing the complete life cycle of client files, from opening to closing, and ensuring their secure storage and retrieval.
Requirements
To make a successful application to this role, you will be a legal secretary with ideally 2 + years experience of working in a law firm and handling litigation matters.
* Familiarity with litigation documentation.
* Proficiency in word processing software including MS Office.
* Ability to work with a team of Lawyers and others in the organisation.
* Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Professional and courteous manner.
* Ability to type quickly and accurately.
