Planner/Scheduler Opportunity in Pharmaceuticals
In the thriving Life Sciences Sector of Ireland, a unique chance has arisen to work on a major expansion project for a global Pharmaceutical organisation. This role is located in the picturesque Munster region and offers a 12-month contract.
The manufacturing site is easily accessible by car or public transport from the nearest international airport. You will be required to work on-site 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, for approximately 45 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement planning, reporting, and analytical tools for the Tech Ops organisation.
* Chair weekly planning and scheduling meetings.
* Accurately track and control plan vs actual performance.
* Ensure compliance with current IOPS cGxP's (e.g. Good Manufacturing Processes, Good Documentation Practices etc.).
* Maintain inspection readiness at all times.
* Create clear and tangible work plans to enable technician execution.
* Interact with our CMMS system, grouping and sorting large data sets into executable packages of work.
* Loading and resourcing planned work-fronts.
* Highlighting schedule issues and constraints, proposing potential mitigations.
* Rolling up and summarising detailed schedules for specific audiences.
* Establishing KPIs and tracking/reporting performance in your function.
* Engagement with cross-functional groups for schedule development and forward planning.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering or scientific field, or relevant trade qualification, with 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
* Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite software packages, including MS Project.
* Familiarity and experience with Oracle Primavera.
