Sherry FitzGerald O’Donovan in Shannon is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Accounts Manager to join our team.
This position is full time, working in a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing banking payments and receipts, reconciling bank accounts and investigating any discrepancies.
Accounts Payable/Receivable.
Preparation of monthly management accounts, including month end procedures and reconciliations.
Payroll preparation.
Credit Control.
Prepare and maintain client account reconciliations.
Various ad-hoc queries/administrative duties.
Journal Postings to the General and Sub ledgers.
Preparation and submission of accounts.
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
Posting of cost and revenue accruals.
Prepare accounts to final trial balance stage.
Preparation of balance Sheet reconciliations and profit and loss account analysis.
Landlord payments and reconciliations.
Maintain month and quarter end accounting procedures.
Liaise with external auditors of the company and maintain accurate records for Audit Purposes.
Ensure all tasks are conducted in a manner compliant with all policies, procedures, legislative and regulatory requirements.
Applicant must be proficient in using general online resources (Training will be provided for our own system).
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience in a bookkeeping role, accounts management role or similar position.
An accounting related degree is desirable.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in IT systems & CRM systems, particularly Microsoft Excel.
A proactive attitude towards learning and developing new skills.
