Responsibilities and Key Activities Include:
* Plan ITPs and their implementation as part of the overall Quality Plan and ensure compliance with specifications.
* Oversee all construction processes on site.
* Inspect and review work carried out by directly employed and subcontracted resources to ensure it meets quality standards and latest information.
* Identify and record non-conformances, ensure corrective actions are taken, maintain a register of observations, and record the closure of remedial works.
* Monitor site activities according to technical guidelines, standards, and specifications to control and record work quality.
* Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards, taking corrective measures as needed.
* Report on work status to Project Management.
* Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the PMP and related Method Statements.
* Review and implement environmental requirements, coordinate control measures, and report emergencies and incidents.
* Support site management in root cause analysis and investigations.
* Document project progress with records and photos in liaison with the Foreman and Engineers.
* Assist in preparing the safety file and BC(a)R submissions.
* Review and comment on subcontractor, supplier, and vendor technical submittals for compliance.
* Focus on achieving high-quality results and objectives.
* Perform other duties as required.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* 3+ years' experience on major construction projects as an Engineer or Section Manager.
* A Building or Civil Engineering degree.
* Knowledge of Quality Control and Building Regulations in the construction industry.
* Strong team player with the ability to identify and drive quality improvements.
* Demonstrate and promote high levels of professional quality engineering.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Good administrative and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
