Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Train Maintainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining vehicles in accordance with Company, Quality, and Health & Safety procedures.
Main Responsibilities
* Maintain vehicles in accordance with specified Company, Quality, and Health & Safety procedures
* Carry out vehicle preparation work as required using on-board computerized equipment
* Be part of an emergency call-out team
* Undertake train fault diagnostic work using laptop computers
* Attend regular team briefings and communicate relevant work matters
* Continuously improve process and procedures
* Coach and develop other train maintainers when required
* Report accidents/incidents through the appropriate channels
* Read reports/manuals and participate in training programs

Experience and Qualifications
* Qualification in a technical discipline (mechanical or electrical)
* Experience of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics
* Experience working in a Rolling Stock Maintenance environment
* History of work in a process/production environment (desirable)
* Working knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems (desirable)
* Clean driving licence for light vehicles
* PC skills, including Microsoft software packages
