We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in Co. Wexford, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage your designated section and ensure the preparation and presentation of dishes meet high culinary standards.
* Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver a smooth and efficient service.
* Maintain strict adherence to hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) at all times.
* Contribute innovative ideas to menu development and seasonal offerings.
* Support and mentor junior kitchen staff while promoting a positive team environment.
* Optimize stock levels for your section and minimize food waste.
* Maintain consistency, quality, and speed of service during peak periods.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef looking to progress.
* A genuine passion for food and attention to detail.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* Detailed knowledge of HACCP and kitchen health & safety regulations.
