IT Support Engineer
A key client of ours is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic IT Support Engineer to play a pivotal role in supporting the entire organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with colleagues on ongoing software and IT requirements.
* Maintain and develop internal IT network, including user stations, core network, conferencing and presentation suite, and centrally managed resources such as print, internet and WiFi.
* Manage an internal ticket logging system and oversee satisfactory measured response times.
* Assist with IT and systems onboarding and offboarding.
* Develop a strategic and robust IT Plan appropriate for the Organisation, liaising with colleagues on their needs and recommending industry-leading solutions.
* Lead the roll-out and implementation of the plan, supported by partners and providers as necessary.
* Manage all IT procurement, acting as the key contact point for vendors and associate products, and optimise consumption plans, maintaining relationships with outsourced partner providers.
* Maintain our Cyber ISO certification, leading the internal team through audits to ensure robust processes, procedures, staff training and policies are in operation.
* Develop and maintain our Disaster Recovery plan, focusing on robust backup, protection and cyber security products and policies.
* Liaise with staff, suppliers and clients as necessary.
* Work closely with functional teams to ensure smooth daily operations and support organisational needs.
Required Skills:
* A third-level degree in Computer Science or similar.
* 5 years of experience in network management and Desktop Support.
* Familiarity with major cloud platforms, e.g. MS Azure.
* Experience with VMWare and Hyper V.
