Job Description:
A senior Network Engineer is required to act as the primary point of escalation for network engineers and other global team members. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing and maintaining large-scale networks, with a strong focus on incident management and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily infrastructure monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of all network devices and critical interface nodes.
• Collaborate with the architecture and engineering teams to implement solutions that meet project and business-as-usual requirements.
• Implement network management group tasks in accordance with change management procedures, including DHCP/DNS, firewall, load balancing, and network device configuration.
• Regularly perform software upgrades on Cisco switches and routers, as well as network support applications such as DNS management systems and load balancing firewalls.
• Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent qualification.
• Completion of CCNA/CCNP certification programs.
Experience:
• Working with carriers and vendors to ensure seamless network operations.
• Maintaining a corporate network comprising multiple routers, switches, and various network equipment.
• Possessing excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused approach and ability to take ownership of issues.
