A client of mine is exclusively hiring for an IT Support Technician to join their Dublin-based team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Windows environments who is looking to gain hands-on experience across a variety of technologies. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in ongoing business projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide frontline support for Windows-based systems, including troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues.
2. Assist in the configuration and support of Office 365 and related Microsoft applications.
3. Participate in IT projects such as system rollouts, migrations, and hardware upgrades.
4. Collaborate with senior IT staff to ensure smooth operation of the IT infrastructure.
5. Provide on-site support for end-users and assist with equipment setup and maintenance.
Requirements:
1. 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a Windows environment.
2. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365.
3. Experience with hardware troubleshooting and network basics.
4. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar.
