You will provide guidance on compliance strategies and help clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes.Purpose-led work you’ll be part ofAs a Regulatory Risk, Compliance Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ResponsibilitiesThe role of the Regulatory Senior Manager (with a focus on Financial Crime & AML) is to work with senior members of the Regulatory, Financial Services and wider PwC-Advisory Consulting teams in delivering high quality work and the preparation of high quality client deliverables, alongside practice development opportunities. More specifically, responsibilities include: Leading project teams with a focus on Financial Crime & AML and providing on-the-job learning and coaching to more junior members of the team; Delivering high quality client projects, bringing SME insights to our clients in relation to Financial Crime & AML; Managing Financial Crime & AML projects and programmes; Engaging with current and potential clients in relation to Financial Crime & AML and building relationships with them;Preparing and submitting regulatory proposals, particularly within the area of Financial Crime & AML;Key member of the Financial Services Regulatory team, responsible for developing and providing insights on the AML proposition; Leveraging the PwC Financial Crime Network to identify opportunities to work with them and to bring their insights and knowledge to our clients; Supporting business development initiatives, particularly within the area of Financial Crime & AML.Experiences and skills:Education / Professional Qualifications:University degree or equivalent (minimum grade 2.1); ACAMS qualification confers advantage. Experience Required:10+ years experience in a Regulatory Compliance role, with specific experience in AML and wider Financial Crime areas; Experience working with Regulated Institutions, consulting and advising on Compliance and Financial Crime (including AML) risks; Reviewing, assessing and enhancing regulatory processes, with a particular focus on AML & Financial Crime activities, including: Know Your Customer (KYC) Reviews (onboarding, remediation, periodic reviews); Screening (PEP, Sanctions, Adverse Media, etc.); Business & Customer Risk Assessments - assessing the AML & Financial Crime risks associated with regulated institutions, individuals & entities; Transaction Monitoring - reviewing unusual / suspicious transactions and assessing the effectiveness of the rules/parameters in place to monitor such transactions; Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR); and AML Training - developing and delivering training to individuals working in Regulated Institutions; .Managing and leading teams involved in Compliance / Financial Crime ( including AML) activities; Driving Operational Excellence and high quality standards across Compliance & Financial Crime (including AML) teams and processes; Reviewing and assessing Compliance & Financial Crime (including AML) Frameworks within Regulated Institutions.Personal Qualities: Strong communication skills, specifically an ability to express ideas clearly and concisely verbally and in writing; A solid track record of demonstrated career achievements and academic excellence;The ability to interact with various levels of clients and firm management; An ability to develop effective relationships within the team;A flexible approach to individual and team work; A highly motivated self-starter;A commitment to exceptional client service and intellectual curiosity;An ability to self direct and build good client relations; andA strong commercial focus and business acumen.
