Within FSO Business Consulting and our Business Transformation Delivery practice, you'll work as part of a high-performing team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping financial services organisations solve their complex business opportunities and challenges from strategy to execution. As a Programme Director you will:
- Lead large and complex (multi-year / multi-million) transformation programmes end-to-end.
- Build valuable relationships with our clients and develop a track-record of delivery that is recognised throughout the market.
- Deliver key strategic programmes for FS Consulting Insurance clients, ensuring service quality on one or more engagements at a time.
- Manage the overall programme end to end within the scope, quality, time and budget terms of reference.
- Work with the programme team, EY Partners and client programme leadership.
- Own the delivery relationship with the client.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the overall programme team.
- Represent the programme at necessary client governance sessions at an ExCo level.
- Manage programme costs, forecasts and actuals.
- Work with a global team of experts to develop unique and innovative solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities (EY Consulting Director Rank):
- Lead EY FSO Business Consulting business development activities.
- Ensure that all operational metrics are met for utilisation, timesheet and related internal engagement management processes.
- Manage and coach Senior Managers / Managers.
- Define client needs and recommend solutions that deliver value.
- Write sharp and concise documents suitable for C Suite client level.
- Deliver presentations to C Suite client level.
- Manage difficult C Suite client stakeholders.
- Independently lead complex engagements from inception to completion.
- Manage engagement revenue and billing associated with programme / project.
- Mentor colleagues to achieve their career goals.
- Shape solutions for complex problems by bringing the cross-service line and EMEIA capability of EY to the client.
- Own, develop and maintain senior client relationships.
- Ensure Service Quality best practices and standards are delivered.
- Guide and mentor delivery teams with practical experience.
- Create thought leadership pieces that build the reputation of our teams.

Technical:
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in using Excel and other tools.
- Experienced using project and portfolio management tools such as Clarity.
- Recognized as a leader and innovator in their technical skill domain.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- 12+ years senior level experience in consulting and delivery of large-scale complex change programmes.
- Experience in a matrix managed organisation.
- Primary degree.
- Experience in managing teams comprised of both staff, contractor, and strategic partners.
- Strong financial background including experience of business case development.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Deep Functional expertise coupled with a relevant accreditation.
- A proven track record of delivering business value as a senior Programme Director.
- Experience in seeking the alignment of business and IT.
- Accreditation and practitioner experience of a range of Project Management approaches.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience in one or more specialisms: Digital Transformations, Agile Delivery Methods, Business Design, Regulatory Change.
- Experience of CRM programme delivery.
- Project Management Certification and/or Agile certification desirable.
- Management Consulting experience.
