Sustainability Finance Role in Leading Non-Profit Organisation
We are a leading sustainability non-profit organisation based in Dublin City Centre, Ireland. Our mission is to revolutionise the construction industry and help Ireland and Europe reach their climate change goals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance of accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries in Sage.
2. Generation of revenue invoices and recording of receipts for all IGBC membership, education, events, and certification activities.
4. Preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow, comparing against budget and/or forecast.
5. Preparation of all relevant reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
6. Preparation of a summary of management accounts for inclusion in the bi-monthly Board report.
7. Financial Planning, Tax
* Preparation of monthly rolling cash flow forecast.
* Assistance in financial planning, including the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working with the CEO and external CFO.
* Preparation of VAT calculation and return.
* In conjunction with external payroll provider, ensuring payroll tax return and payment is completed.
* Support of regular reporting on grant-aided projects.
8. Audit/ Year End Accounts
* Maintenance of comprehensive finance policy and procedures, including scheduled annual review by CFO.
* Maintenance of appropriate filing systems for financial and administrative records for auditing purposes.
* Coordination of preparation and audit of annual financial statements with third-party accountants/auditors.
* Preparation of other financial reporting, including Charity Regulator, as required.
Requirements:
* Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA).
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in accounts, administration, or a financial support role required.
* Preference will be given to candidates with accounts experience within a non-profit or project-based environment.
* Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Must be highly proficient in Excel for project reporting.
* Clear understanding of accrual accounting essential, as opposed to cash-based accounting, as most of the organisation's income is either membership or grant funding.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Benefits:
* Salary €40,000 - €45,000 dependent on experience and skills.
