Job Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Process Lead in implementing the Process Design in alignment with the project's process requirements.
2. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure all project and site stakeholder inputs are clear and accurately reflected in C&Q deliverables.
3. Keep all stakeholders informed and involved in key process activities and decisions.
4. Track progress of process suite team milestones, providing status updates to project tiers and stakeholders.
5. Oversee the C&Q progression led by partner firms.
6. Ensure adherence to site engineering standards, procedures, and practices.
7. Support the C&Q Lead in coordinating and, at times, leading C&Q field execution.
8. Develop and/or review system lifecycle documents, including Criticality and Risk Assessments, FAT documentation, and C&Q records.
9. Manage the installation, start-up, and testing of process systems through OQ completion, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness for post-OQ phases (PQ, PPQ).
10. Engage with stakeholders, equipment vendors, business partners, and subject matter experts from other sites as needed.
11. Undertake Project Engineering responsibilities, such as preparing project-related deliverables like schedules, work plans, and equipment cost tracking, and coordinating project activities among stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Minimum qualification B.Sc. or M.Sc./M.Eng Degree in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
2. Minimum of 8 years post academic process engineering experience in relevant biopharmaceutical processing design, construction, and start-up environment.
3. Demonstrated ability to lead/influence teams in a matrix team environment.
4. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
5. In-depth understanding of process engineering and technologies pertinent to unit process and utility operations for a bulk vaccine/biologics processing facility.
